  1. Luke ends saying the disciples were daily in the Temple. The upper room was at the Temple. The noise of the outpouring would be more likely to be heard in the Temple. Women would not likely be in the bedroom of men who were not their husbands.

    1. You need to dig a little deeper. In the podcast, I cited a source for my information. I also verified it with about a dozen other academic and Christian resources. John Mark’s family home was right near the Temple. In Jerusalem, the upper rooms were designed for large meetings of multi-generations of families coming to Jerusalem for the Feasts. The bedrooms would have been in the back. It is historically documented that the Early Church used the upper room near the temple (and as I stated, most likely a family home to John Mark) for many of their meetings. The expression in Luke regarding the Temple is a colloquialism that would have included those homes adjacent to the Temple. The First Century readers that had visited Jerusalem would have known what he was referring to. The Book of Acts also informs us that the Early Church meets in many homes, in which the Apostles taught them the ways of Messiah.

  2. This is what I have heard about the California wild fires. Pres. Trump cut off the federal funds to Cali because of the sanctuary state policy. Cali is about bankrupt so they set the fires in order to declare a state of emergency to get billions in Federal disaster relief. The disaster relief will not be funded for Cali.
