KIB 158 – The Power of Prayer and Manifested Grace

Kingdom Intelligence Briefing

On today’s podcast, Dr. Lake and Mary talk about the power of the prayers of God’s people, as they express their heartfelt gratitude for all of the emails, cards and prayer support from their worldwide church family, following the death of their son-in-law. Dr. Lake discusses James 5:16, concerning the significance of the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man. He also shares an inspiring quote by Spurgeon on prayer. Mary shares how the prayers of their church family had such a profound impact on their daughter and their grandsons during this time of grieving that they will forever be able to share their experience of God’s grace through the loving prayer support of others. Join with Dr. Lake and Mary as they pray and believe for a turnaround anointing for all believers, as we enter the Purim season.

Dr. Michael Lake is the Chancellor and Founder of Biblical Life College and Seminary and is the author of the best-selling book, The Shinar Directive: Preparing the Way for the Son of Perdition, and the newly released book, The Sheeriyth Imperative: Empowering the Remnant to Overcome the Gates of Hell.

Mary Lou Lake has worked side by side with her husband in ministry for over 30 years and is the author of the book, What Witches Don’t Want Christians to Know – Expanded Edition.

  1. New to your programs. My heart breaks to learn about your great loss. I pray for Steffie and the boys and their broken hearts and for Mary Lou and Mike and comfort for all of your family and friends. God I ask for your comfort to come to the Lake household and extended family. Heal their hearts, of course, Heart break takes time to heal, but you, God in your Grace and Mercy will cover these hearting people and get each of them through this time of broken-heartedness with your great love and caring for your people. Bless every person who hears this ministry and bless them.

  5. I have never met either of you but I was praying for you and I have to tell you that the Love of God just pours over when I listen to your ministry. You are family to me! The week you lost your son-in-law was the week I lost my earthly father. The Holy Spirit has me up and praying but I didn’t know how to pray for myself but He poured words to pray for you and your family.
I have been praying since 1978 for the fire of God to touch me and set me on fire for Him. I wanted to live in Kingdom principles.
God Bless you always, Dr. Mike and MaryLou!

    Love in Christ,
    Carol

    1. May the God of all comfort surround you with His grace and empower you to walk in the Kingdom!

  6. How encouraging to see how both of you and your daughter Steffi have been strengthened and carried through the shock and grief of your son-in-law. As you were sharing about how he affected and was a witness to those around him at work, it was impressed that his life witness will continue to speak to others, that is life witness is not done! There will be more to be revealed about his testimony to the Glory of God. Father thank You for the gifts and talents and character that is being imparted to his sons, through the witness of his love for them. May you each continue to be uplifted and filled with the love and glory of Father in Heaven, may the Holy Spirit continue to impart the wisdom and understanding for you to walk in peace as you celebrate your son-in-law and the gift he was in yours and others lives.

Father we thank You for your goodness and ever present mercy and grace.
Thank you for family that is knit together in You.

  7. Blessings to you dear Mike and Mary, I have been praying for you for Peace, Strength, and Restoration. Our lives are so intertwined, and I could feel the depth of your hearts where your love for your family was so tangible.
Your very blessed, and this is for God’s Glory! Many things will come from this. God be with your family to uplift you, and give you the Heights of God’s Power in these days to come.
We love you dearly! In Yeshua’s Mighty Love, Shalom, Valerie and Rodney Matson
