KIB 110 – The Maccabees’ Anointing
In the second of a series of three podcasts on the Feast of Dedication, Dr. Lake and Mary discuss what events were taking place during the time of the Maccabees. They compare some of the same challenges that were faced in that day with our current times. Is there is a connection between the defilement of the temple by Antiochus Epiphanes, the Greco-Syrian king, and the defilement of the body of Christ today? Since we are the temples of the Holy Spirit, there is an anointing being released for cleansing so we can be empowered to reestablish the Kingdom of God within our spiritual borders. Mary shares our plans for the food and decorations for the Feast of Dedication, with a menu and recipe below.
Mary Lou Lake has worked side by side with her husband in ministry for over 30 years and is the author of the book, What Witches Don’t Want Christians to Know – Expanded Edition

Mark Taylor in 2011 received a prophecy that Donald Trump would become President. That really gave me the initiative to get out and vote.
He has been on Trunews and other places.
I am believing we are set to see things happen which are dreams come true.
I’ve been looking forward to this KIB podcast for days! (Yay!)
Now I’ve got something great to listen to as I eat lunch! Haha. Thanks a lot!
I love those pictures, Mary — they’re cute.
Blessings
Very cleaver. I’m alone, but I think I’ll “happy up my day”. Thank you – Wish we were neighbors.
Beautiful! Thank you
Once again you have given us some very interesting concepts to use this Hanukkah feast. I so appreciate the biblical teachings, the insights into being “dedicated” to the Lord in this season.
As for the celebration ideas, thank you Mary Lou. I have been wondering how to celebrate without opening any doors. My family still is not understanding, but I plan to have friends over and these ideas are so valuable to us who are just starting to do the feasts. Looking forward to the blog.
Love you guys. Shalom
Thank you for the recipes and ideas. They are very helpful.
You two are awsome! I can’t get enough of Michaels teaching. Enjoy hearing from Mary also. Very beautiful ideas Mary! So cute! You are an encouragement to my married daughter also. She is just stepping into some of these things and she is connecting the dots!
Thank you. This is our first year without a ‘tree’ and it has been hard. I know the LORD will help us. Our children have had a hard time with us celebrating the Sabbath on Saturday. I am trusting the LORD to help us this year as I trust him daily. Thank you, Mary for your ideas and sharing your recipes. At this point I’m unsure if we will even see our grandchildren. Thanks for your encouragement. We love you guys.
Thank you. When you mentioned the defilement of the Temple with the pig being slaughtered on the altar and the blood being sprinkled on the Torah on December 25th, I thought, “There is nothing new under the sun.” We commemorate the day by slapping our Xmas ham on the table (which according to jewish teaching the the present day representative of the altar of the Temple)
and we sprinkle the Word of God with all these pagan teachings. Once again, polluting the altar and Word! And our Temple is defiled. Lord have mercy and raise up Maccabbees again and purge Your Temple, US!
I’m a newbie to M and M and fairly recently came across Michael on SkyWatch TV. I did order the “Sheeriyth Imperative” but have not read it yet.
It was a good to hear Mary speak of her spiritual insight about the photos she saw of the warehouse fire in CA. I did not see them but I do remember the photo that was shown of the man in Florida who was swallowed by a sink hole while sleeping in bed. It was a Holiday photo of him standing in front of a decorated Christmas tree. That photo spoke volumes to me. My heart goes out to those enslaved. Thanks for speaking out His truth in love!!!
I Thank God for leading me to your Ministry and may He Bless you and your family abundantly!
GOOD show!
Very good that you addressed this christmas crap -it is all pagan.
I cut hair for a living and everyone celebrates christmas ..haven’t found anyone that has said: “No it’s wrong!”
Always ask “So do you guys celebrate christmas or not?”
I sound crazy talking about it so I’m trying to learn the right way to explain.
I want a fajita bar 🙂 That peanut butter pie sounds amazing… Could you post the recipe? I love the ideas to create new ways of celebrating that brings honor and glory to Father. I can also see this as a great way to help survivors of SRA to start celebrating God’s way since many are isolated/withdrawn during this season. I definitely since your passion and excitement when explaining how you all are celebrating the feasts. I want to be a part! 🙂
