Understanding the Kingdom – Part 46
Biblical Life TV
In this episode, Dr. Michael Lake examines 2 Timothy 4:1-4 in light of the state of the modern Church: from the degrading of Evangelicalism to disturbing tendencies on Social media. He then explains that the root of decline is that we have lost sight of true spiritual authority that flows from the throne of God. Then, Dr. Lake calls for repentance and personal examination for the Remnant so that they might realign with the Kingdom and throne of God.
Dr. Michael Lake is the Senior Pastor of Biblical Life Assembly, the Chancellor and Founder of Biblical Life College and Seminary, and is the author of the best-selling book,The Shinar Directive: Preparing the Way for the Son of Perdition, and the newly released book,The Sheeriyth Imperative: Empowering the Remnant to Overcome the Gates of Hell. Dr. Lake is a popular speaker at national Christian conferences and is a frequent guest on many Christian TV and radio/podcast programs in North America.
Thank you so much for clear, easy to understand teaching from the Word of God and practical life applications.
Could you tell me the title of the music played at the end of your program? It is very much like the music I heard during the night when I was hospitalized a month ago.
Again, my husband and I are very blessed by your ministry.
Thank You Mike.
You are totally right. I am a Messianic Jew living in Honolulu, Hi. (wife of 36 years, children and grandchildren) Luckily we have a few Churches that teach the Gospel. I find them to be Cavalry Churches. They do good teaching like you do. I like JD Farag out here who also teaches Bible Prophecy because we are so close to The Blessed Coming. However I get my best education by a small Bible Study Men’s Group on Saturday morning where we read the word and relate it to how we are to live our daily lives in Jesus. Pretty simple stuff. Our group of 6 men are really close and we help each other. When some one has a problem or whatever they bring it to the group and we pray about it and discuss it. Searching the scriptures to solve, whatever it may be.
We are led by a great Pastor (Kahu) now retired, Curt Kekuna a graduate of Fuller Seminary. Who has a heart for Israel.
Thank you so much for Mary and you to further me along in Christ.
I love your books and can’t wait for the next one.
I am sorry for the loss of your son in law.
Thank You again,
Aloha,
Bo Ehrig
Hi Mike,
I agree with you. It seems that no matter which denomination, the church is preaching a very diluted version of the Word of God. I’m currently attending a small Hebraic Roots congregation in Oklahoma. The “Bible” churches I had attended in Dallas are heavily influenced by the skewed doctrines of the Dallas Theological Seminary, thanks to Darby and the financial backing of the then Rothschild attorney. I don’t recall his name right now. There are so many being misled in these mega churches throughout the US.
I also agree with you regarding which Bible to use – the one that is the most faithful in the transliteration of the original Hebrew and Greek texts. The DTS crowd in Dallas are so enamored by the NIV, the Message and other versions of the Bible. I wasn’t aware until this teaching that the NASB is another good version to use besides the KJV version. I will get one as funds allow.
Thank you so much for you and Mary’s diligence and your years of study and hard work in preparing the remnant. I was so ecstatic when I came across your interview on SkyWatch TV while your were being interviewed on your book, The Shinar Directive. Here was a well studied scholar, with 2 doctorates in Theology, who weathered and grew spiritually stronger while helping Mary overcome her spiritual battles, and who were led into keeping the Feasts. I thought to myself, “Wow! Here is someone in whom God has raised up to go beyond even the accurate teaching of the Word, but also to ignite actual spiritual growth.” You’ve stated before that we need to understand that there is more than just the Kingdom of Salvation, but that there is the Kingdom of God, which is to walk in the authority that Jesus afforded us by giving us the keys to the kingdom (Matt 16:19).
The congregation that I attend does a good job of teaching the Torah portion and keeping the feasts, but that’s where it stops. There is no teaching on walking in the spirit as is exemplified in the life of Henry Gruver. It is such a blessing to listen Henry talk about his adventures as the Prayer Walker.
I now consider myself as one of the remnant. I’ve got a lot of catching up to do in taking your faithful teachings of God’s word and running with it. With our nation being on the verge of possible war with North Korea, the coming collapse of the dollar, escalation of civil unrest, etc . . . we need to stay focused, study, to pray and stay faithful even if it costs our lives.
I’m so thankful for God’s faithfulness in chastising and teaching me and creating in me a desire to learn and grow spiritually. There’s still more growth needed and quickly it seems.
May God bless you and keep you,
John
Thank you for Rock Solid Teaching – authentic Word of God. You are correct, our leaders are not teaching from the Word of God. Free Masonary is rife in society and in our churches and they don’t want to hear the truth about it. God Bless you and Mary and thank you for your teachings from the Word of God.
Excellent and timely teaching Dr. Lake. “Understanding the Kingdom” gets better and better. Very essential. May God continue to bless your ministry as you move in the power and authority of Y’shua.
