KIB 144 – The Power of Being Hidden in God
Kingdom Intelligence Briefing
Join Dr. Lake and Mary on today’s podcast, where they discuss the power of being hidden in God and not placing our trust in anything but Him. Dr. Lake gives an overview of scriptures that remind us of dwelling in the house of the Lord and declaring the power of His protection. They compare King Asa to King Hezekiah. King Asa was angry when the prophet pointed out the alliance that he had made with the king of Syria and his failure to rely on God. He put the prophet in a prison house. Even when King Asa had a disease, he did not seek the Lord and died in a couple of years. They contrast the response of King Hezekiah when he heeded the words of Isaiah and sought a hiding place in God where he cried out and wept. God heard Hezekiah’s prayers and saw his tears, and the prophetic outcome changed. Almighty God stopped Isaiah and told him to go back with the message that God was going to heal him. Hezekiah’s life was extended 15 years. We need a pure prophetic stream for believers, where we can hear the warnings and cry out and repent. Mary reminds listeners to be praying about September 7th, which is significant to those in the occult. Dr. Lake and Mary pray about Hurricane Irma and for our President.
