KIB 91 – Faith, Trust, and the Kingdom

Kingdom Intelligence Briefing
podcast_logo_2On today’s podcast, Dr. Lake and Mary discuss the difference in faith and trust.  They point out how the power of the Kingdom of God is released with the dynamic combination of faith and trust.  While many have faith that Almighty God is the Creator and Jesus died for our sins, they experience trust issues regarding the promises in God’s Word.  From the false teachings in the Church today to life experiences that cause us to doubt, they speak about the benefits that come with trusting God.   Trust builders and trust killers are reviewed, along with the truth that overrides the trust killers.  They end the podcast with heartfelt prayers and declarations over the listeners.  God can give us the courage to cast off every hindrance and make the decision today to place complete trust in Him.  We can see the Kingdom of God at work in our lives, through the powerful duo of faith and trust.
Dr. Michael Lake is the Chancellor and Founder of Biblical Life College and Seminary and is the author of the best-selling book, The Shinar Directive:  Preparing the Way for the Son of Perdition, and the soon to be released book, The Sheeriyth Imperative.

  1. I couldn’t understand what faith was until I heard a man of GOD say, “Faith is your accumulated revelation”. I love you two and these podcasts are continuing to bring the power that breaks off demonic strongholds. Who is greater than our GOD?!!! I never thought I would say with joy that I am glad this is the day I am living in.

  2. The Lord gave me a vision regarding the elite and the power they are presuming. It comes from Daniel 5 and Belshazzar’s party.

Right now God is allowing them to have their fun and see how many sacred lines they are willing to profane. At the right time the hand of judgement will show up and write it on their wall.

Thanks again for all you do,
    David Minear

  3. LOVED THIS TEACHING!!!
    You are so right guys!!
I was under self condemnation for a long time when I wasn’t completely healed after praying and being prayed for over and over. Even so, God worked trust and faith in my heart in the midst of the suffering. How can that be? I really don’t understand completely how He did it, but He did. I believe, however, that it all began when my focus changed from my needs to the needs of others, and from others needing to change to my needing to change. My advice. Don’t fight it, just do it.

Because of the suffering in my life, I am better able to understand the suffering of others. My prayers are heartfelt and many times I weep because I understand their pain.

Jesus understands our pain. He suffered rejection, ridicule and unbearable beatings on the way to the cross. All for us.

    That humbles me.

I learned to kiss the chains while waiting for my deliverance, praise Him and press on to the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Faith and Trust must be yoked together in our lives! It is wonderful to understand the authority of Jesus Christ. But,unless we understand “our” authority in His Name we are rendered helpless before the enemy.
Why did Jesus commend the “great faith” of the centurion?
    Matthew 8:5-13 KJ21
6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
The centurion displayed GREAT FAITH AND TRUST IN JESUS. He had faith in the authority of Jesus and trusted The Lord’s Word would heal his servant. The Name of Jesus and the Word of the Lord is powerful in prayer but when spoken by a loving servant of the Most High God, they become power filled.

    .

Today you released a lot of suffering saints from the hopeless bondage of guilt and poor self worth. This is the enemies most effective weapon against the body of Christ. It renders us powerless.
I remember reading and reciting aloud every scripture about how loved I am by God. The Lord validated me by His Word. It was as though my Heavenly Father had said, “This is my beloved daughter in whom I am well pleased.

I came to understand that it is our Father in Heaven who validates us through His Son Jesus Christ and it is by His precious blood that we are vindicated. When we are validated, we are approved. When we are vindicated, we are justified.

Matthew 10: 29-32 was given to me by the Lord many years ago during prayer. It was at a time when I was struggling with self worth. God’s Word was confirmed by a sister in the Lord who showed up at my doorstep 3 days later with two tiny artificial sparrows in a nest. She said “the Lord wanted me to give this to you,” but she didn’t know why?
I serve an awesome God!!! The verses below have followed me all of my life, especially when I most needed them.

29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

Remember always dear hearts, that you are worth more than many sparrows!!!

Today I know I am blessed and approved because,

    JOHN 3:16 GOD SO LOVED—

    AND SO ARE YOU BELOVED!

  4. Our Father is truly awesome – He uses 2 of His faithful children to reach out across the world & minister to another of His children in need. God bless you both & thank you from my heart.
