KIB 137 – Heart Problems in the Body

Kingdom Intelligence Briefing

During today’s podcast, Dr. Lake and Mary discuss King Amaziah.  2 Chronicles 25:1-2 tells us that he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, but not with a perfect heart.  Dr. Lakes takes apart the meaning of a perfect heart, explaining covenant relationship, loyalty, and faithfulness.  He compares the characteristics of the heart of the wicked with the heart after the new birth.  Mary discusses the fact that after defeating the Edomites, King Amaziah took their gods, set them up to be his gods, bowed down himself before them, and burned incense to them.  They speculate what could have been in the heart of Amaziah, and compare his actions to people today.  Dr. Lake does a mini teaching on how we are no longer going to be the bricks in Babylon, but hewn stones made by the hand of God.
Dr. Michael Lake is the Chancellor and Founder of Biblical Life College and Seminary and is the author of the best-selling book, The Shinar Directive:  Preparing the Way for the Son of Perdition, and the newly released book, The Sheeriyth Imperative: Empowering the Remnant to Overcome the Gates of Hell.
Mary Lou Lake has worked side by side with her husband in ministry for over 30 years and is the author of the book, What Witches Don’t Want Christians to Know – Expanded Edition.
