KIB 154 – Restoring Vision, Abiding in Christ, and Taking Down Your Giants

Kingdom Intelligence Briefing

On today’s podcast, Dr. Lake and Mary discuss what’s on the horizon for this coming year.  To realign with the Kingdom, three issues must be addressed:  biblical vision or purpose, abiding in Christ, and taking down giants.  Dr. Lake reviews Proverbs 29:18 and then surveys Paul’s surrender to Christ and the personal relationship that developed.  Dr. Lake also addresses David as the shepherd boy and draws a comparison to the place of transformation that we must go through to be able to kill the giants in our lives.  Mary shares what she is sensing about the members of the Body of Christ finding their place in the Kingdom and flowing like a fine-tuned instrument in an orchestra and the power of God that will ensue.
Dr. Michael Lake is the Chancellor and Founder of Biblical Life College and Seminary and is the author of the best-selling book, The Shinar Directive:  Preparing the Way for the Son of Perdition, and the newly released book, The Sheeriyth Imperative: Empowering the Remnant to Overcome the Gates of Hell.
Mary Lou Lake has worked side by side with her husband in ministry for over 30 years and is the author of the book, What Witches Don’t Want Christians to Know – Expanded Edition.

  1. Oh how I have missed you. Like family living far away. You are finally home! Iso anxious to see all your hard work I can HEAR the excitement in Mikes voice you can tell he’s about to bust! Preach it to us Brother we are HUNGRY to hear our Lords work and word!! I have heard your comments on Abraham before but not till this session did it truly sink in! Oh MY THANK YOU! 2. LOVE the new intro music!!!

  3. I remember once when meditating on Jesus in my prayer closet I saw in my mind’s eye as clear as day, a man who I just knew in my heart was Jesus. He didn’t look like the famous depictions of Jesus that we’ve all seen in art but rather much humbler and older. On His ancient and wise face was a smile that told me He totally loved me, and He was laughing, not at me but I knew it was because He was so happy that I was His. I felt so loved and happy I had tears of utter joy streaming down my face uncontrollably. Whenever the devil tries to condemn me through guilt and feelings that I’m unworthy I remember that night when Jesus showed me how much He loves me. It’s a memory I’ll always cherish and never forget. Just wanted to tell you that when you were talking about being in your prayer closet and hearing the Holy Spirit laugh. Also, your counsel on spiritual warfare is very helpful. We need to be reminded of how to approach that in love, not railing against the enemy, humbly and in awe of God’s authority.
I’m glad you’re back, missed your podcasts. Love you guys. God bless you.
PS. don’t feel bad, my gift is not plumbing either, that’s for sure. hehe

  4. I am so excited your both back! Happy New Year to you! May God Bless you both with his amazing love and blessings!

  5. Thanks for clearing up the “railing accusation,” and other issues, because I had a stroke on December 5, and it has been one of the great tests of my faith. In the ambulance I prayed that God would be glorified, and my faith was tested, but I had many opportunities for ministries. I prayed in the ambulance and the life light that God would be glorified. Through much trying of my faith, I have many praise reports, and am at home now on the way to recovery. Trusting the Lord to complete the work, and am thanking Him for all of the devices I have at home to aide me in my recovery. I pray God’s blessing

    1. Mary and I are so grateful that the LORD has brought you through. We will be in prayer for your complete recovery.

  6. Glad you’re back, but for some reason I’m unable to listen to or download this one. Hoping you’ll put up the “download as mp3” link. Thanks!

    1. The download link is right on the player. It is the square with the arrow pointing down.

  7. Yes, but neither that, the play button, nor anything else on the player is working for me. Haven’t had this problem in the past, checked all my browser settings, can’t figure it out, so was hoping for a “download as mp3” link. Sorry, as if you don’t already have enough on your plate. Appreciate all you and your wife do, thanks.

  8. David’s smooth stones were supposedly the size of musket balls.
