KIB 231 – Tabernacles and the Supernatural Waters of Messiah

Kingdom Intelligence Briefing

There are many powerful lessons to be learned from the Feast of Tabernacles.  Tabernacles speaks of Emmanuel – God dwelling with us.  It reminds us that we are merely dwelling in tents and that we are looking for the city whose builder and maker is God.  The Lulav teaches us that no matter what our condition is, we all need Jesus.  John 7 details what Jesus did on the Last Great Day of Tabernacles:  He declared the coming and infilling of the Holy Spirit.  In this prophetic moment, we all need a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit to work God’s plan in our lives and to show others their need for Jesus!

Dr. Michael Lake is the Chancellor and Founder of Biblical Life College and Seminary and is the author of the best-selling books, The Shinar Directive:  Preparing the Way for the Son of Perdition, and The Sheeriyth Imperative:  Empowering the Remnant to Overcome the Gates of Hell.  Dr. Lake is a popular speaker at national Christian conferences and is a frequent guest on many Christian TV and radio/podcast programs in North America.

Mary Lou Lake has worked side by side with her husband in ministry for over 30 years and is the author of the book, What Witches Don’t Want Christians to Know – Expanded Edition.

  1. I wish you two could hear me exclaim “oh yea” when I open my email and see there’s a new MP3 to download! Mahalo nui loa for your dedicated hours of work on behalf of Jesus’ remnant! Much love, D (off to download & listen now, oh yea!)

  2. Oh dear I’m gonna miss Henry Gruver…I too loved watching the Steve Quayle videos; I thought while watching their two chairs side by side & the fire burning behind them looked like the Lion of Judah between them…What was it Henry always said with head bowed down, “my my my”?

  3. Could you please sometime go over this concept of asking forgiveness for the sins of others- like you said here for the sins of Congress or a city or whatever? I am just wondering Biblically where that is taught and what that actually does? I was always only taught that we are responsible only for our sins and can only seek forgiveness for those through Jesus Christ? Please sometime could you teach us these principles & how & when to do this effectively? Thanks so much and God Bless you.

    1. Dr. Lake has already dealt with the foundation of this in his book, The Sheeriyth Imperative. He is also planning on dealing with in-depth in his upcoming book through Defender Publishing next year: Unlocking the Nesheq of God.

      1. Hmmm, it would appear this is a “pat answer”….the Dr has also spoken of this. And please understand not everyone can afford to buy books. Txs, ~D

        1. Dr. Lake receives about 1,500 emails each and every day. Each week, he receives at least 300+ requests to either comment on something in a podcast or to teach in-depth on some subject through Biblical Life TV. That is 15,600 requests each year. So, yes, there are some pat answers because it is impossible for anyone ministry or minister to handle even a portion of them.

          1. I understand, and I’m not surprised by the numbers you shared. I too was unfamiliar with the repentance concept when I first heard Mrs Lake speak of it, but I kept listening, kept looking into the Word, and a couple more MP3’s and I got it. In fact, I got it when I listened to an older interview Mrs Lake had with Duval from Bride Ministry. Anyway, Heather’s question was up there in importance. IMHO if effective spiritual warfare and salvation is at stake the question needs to be answered. Perhaps the “most frequently asked questions” section can be added to KIB or macros to cut/paste? Or perhaps assistance from a prayer warrior such as Pamela Gibbs? Thank Jah for Pamela, she came thru for many! IJN

          2. D. Brandt, yes it was an important question. This is why Dr. Lake is writing an entire chapter or more in his next book on the subject. While I am not qualified to answer theological questions (I am an Executive Virtual Administrative Assistant volunteering a few hours a week to help), I do try to point folks in the right direction. My answer was correct: the foundations of understanding the Iniquity Force is in his book (The Sheeriyth Imperative) and that he is planning a detailed, properly-outlined theological discussion in the book on the Priesthood. Few realize that KIB/BLA has no staff. The entire ministry is run by Dr. Lake and his wife. When I first came on to help, he and Mary were answering emails from 6 AM to 9 PM every day. Never mind recording podcasts or videos, operating the distance learning seminary or writing. I came on to help him bring order to this chaos. I was taken aback at the email requests. There were people demanding that the Lake’s provide things that they never offered (and if they didn’t, they were not of God). Many just wanted to take up his time arguing theology. Those from something called “flat earth” (didn’t know that was a thing) regularly would write long emails cursing like a drunken sailor while telling him he was not a Christian. My favorite ones are those that want to send him their notes so he can write their book for them and wanting him to do it for free since it is for the Lord. Then, while Dr. Lake and Mary are running between projects (he still has to edit his own videos) and answering emails and phone calls, he then receives emails wondering why his next book is not yet completed. To be honest, I do not know how they produce so much with so little. I do know that Dr. Lake wants to answer this question and so many more that are needed by the Remnant in this hour. He fells the most effective way is to find the time to write books that will properly address the questions with all the references, logic, etc., need for everyone to understand. Steve.

    2. Heather, John 20:23 “If you forgive anyone’s sins, they are forgiven. If you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven” was the scripture that brought this concept/action full circle in my understanding. Jesus set the greatest example of this, calling out, “Father, forgive them, they know not what they do”. Moses also set examples of this when speaking up to the Almighty on behalf of the sins of those in the wilderness. I came to realize on a smaller scale I had been doing this for years, every time I prayed for the forgiveness of our nations sins in belief of 2Ch7:14. My personal greatest reward has been the release of bitterness (which was destroying my relationship with the Father, Son & Holy Spirit) . When I asked the Father to forgive those who had sinned against me personally (although they never asked, and I had been taught you can’t forgive someone who doesn’t ask) it was me that had been set free! If we are to succeed as a group in unison with Jesus, since we’re his body–beaten, battered, bloodied in the flesh, but in the Spirit we must row the boat together, calm the storm, and repent for each other. ALL for his glory, honor, and praise. With thanks because we’ve been chosen, like Simon of Cyrene, to help our Jesus carry his cross into his new kingdom he’s prepared for us! Shalom Heather! I hope this helped without hindering. ~D

        1. Thank you sister. I’ll be looking forward to catching more from you in the future. His Kingdom come, Denise

    3. Great questions Heather! I’ll see if I can add to some of the comments here to give you a better understanding of the power of our prayers in praying forgiveness for others through Jesus Christ.

As intercessors for our government, towns, communities, leaders etc we are to forgive them for their sinful actions as the Bible teaches (Matthew 6:14-15) and to plead the blood of Jesus over them for repentance and salvation. In doing so we are arresting Satan’s power in continuing to work evil through their lives.

We are also decreeing/declaring Christ’s authority over the situation from the the 3rd heaven courtroom of Christ where we are seated with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). We pray Matthew 18:18 that their sins will be bound, broken and they will be loosed from the bondage of their sins and Satan’s power.

Intercessors will often refer to this as standing in the gap for someone/something. We are intervening on behalf of those who are unable and in some cases unwilling to do so and asking for God’s mercy to be extended to them in order that they might repent and be saved!

These powerful prayers especially if we add fasting into the process accomplishes much as James 5:16 says, Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power to prevail.

Pray in this way as often as necessary and as you feel led by the Holy Spirit. We must stand in our authority in Christ in doing spiritual warfare for others! Why? Read Ephesians 6:12. Prayers of forgiveness are among our most powerful offensive weapons of warfare that we wield.

Our goal through Christ’s redeeming shed blood, love, mercy and forgiveness is to destroy the works of the enemy in this world. We are to occupy and to stand firmly rooted, planted and grounded in Christ and His kingdom until he returns. (Luke 19:13)

Hope this helps you Heather! God Bless! I will be praying for you!

      Love and peace in Jesus!
      Pamela

      1. Wow! Excellent reply Pamela! Txs so much! Shalom, D

      2. Thank you everyone for your answers. Since the Lakes bring this up in every single podcast, I was very curious about it. I understand we are to pray for others and forgive others sins they have committed against ourselves and to pray against evil and wrongdoing, but was looking for a particular example of where in the Bible that the apostles actually practiced what the Lakes speak of, specifically, pleading the blood of Jesus over a town or place and asking God forgive the sins that have taken place there to lessen or nullify the power of evil. The Lakes say to do this every podcast and therefore it must be very important to do. So there has to be some Biblical example of doing exactly that, somewhere in the New Testament.

“Father forgive them for what they do…” spoken by Jesus is an example, but showing more how it is Jesus Himself, being the Messiah, who is the intercessor for forgiveness for all of our sins to God.

Thanks again. I am very grateful for all the Lakes do to help us learn more!

  4. Thank you for your love to Jesus and the way you share it! God bless you, you are being vital to my walk with Jesus. I am from Portugal. Please pray for me.

  5. Awesome teaching on Tabernacles!! I really enjoy your podcasts that a friend recommended- spiritually uplifting and enlightening! May Elohim continue to bless you!

  6. Thanks for the introduction to Henry Gruver. I didn’t know who he was.

  7. Steve, Thank you. Thank you so very much for your additional reply. I’m deeply humbled by your time and patience, forgive me the attitude I displayed, and the extra work I caused you. I’m thankful that the Lakes have your assistance! By the Holy Spirit I’m here, in need of their teachings and prayers; I’m shamed by my snooty comment. Again, please forgive me. Respectfully, Denise
