KIB 140 – Vigilance in the Kingdom Vs. Being at Ease

Kingdom Intelligence Briefing

On today’s podcast, Dr. Lake and Mary talk about how many believers have been lulled to sleep and are at ease.  The times we are in require vigilance.  Dr. Lake takes apart the meaning of vigilant in 1 Peter 5:8-9, and he discusses how the term “at ease” is connected with sudden destruction in the Book of Job.  Mary talks about several occult dates in the month of August and how they may be a contributing factor to the difficulties that arise during this time of year.  Sometimes dates on occult calendars overlap, and different occult groups can work together to form a convergence of occult power.  The convergence can be used to attack an individual, and Mary believes this type of convergence is being used against the President.  Our prayers can make a difference.  God is so much greater than any power the enemy can muster, and there are miracles of healing occurring all around us.
Dr. Michael Lake is the Chancellor and Founder of Biblical Life College and Seminary and is the author of the best-selling book, The Shinar Directive:  Preparing the Way for the Son of Perdition, and the newly released book, The Sheeriyth Imperative: Empowering the Remnant to Overcome the Gates of Hell.
Mary Lou Lake has worked side by side with her husband in ministry for over 30 years and is the author of the book, What Witches Don’t Want Christians to Know – Expanded Edition.

  1. Thank you, Dr. Lake and Mary Lou! I have some questions or a little confusion about COLOSSIANS 2:16-18. If you can address these verses or shed light on them, I would appreciate it. My confusion is comparing this to some verses in JEREMIAH 10, and also regard feast days and the pagan holidays. Thank you for any help.

    1. 1. When you research the historical context in which Colossians was written as well as the background of the city, Paul was not referring to Judaizer that was putting pressure on new believers to become more Jewish. In fact, it was the opposite. It was proud pagan family members that were putting pressure on new believers for being too Jewish! Their families were judging them for keeping the Sabbath and the Feasts, which is all about Messiah. When you look at what those that were putting the pressure were doing, to include worshipping angels, were not Jewish practices in the Second Temple period. They were, however, pagan.

      2. In Jeremiah 10, the Almighty was rebuking them for what they had done to His feasts through including pagan practices. The amalgamation of biblical and Mystery Babylon under the veneer of keeping the Feasts was offensive to the Almighty. In fact, in verse 2, the Prophet Jeremiah warns them not to learn the way of the heathen. This is echoing one of the commandments given by Moses Deut. 12:29-32. Both Moses and Jeremiah were warning them not to adopt pagan practices, place an acceptable veneer over them, and do them unto God.

  2. Thank you Michael and Mary Lou for this message! Mary Lou I am going through Healing for programming and hearing your message it helps me to know I’m not alone. The enemy has done so much damage. Gods so good and he loves us so much! Praying over your ministry. May God Bless you both!

  3. I’m old but only in the past few years have I felt my eyes were being opened. The good part is I can feel God at work but the negative side is that I’m also aware of the Darkside at work. Reality is not as good as I once thought, too many lies and evil at work. What you and Mary are saying sounds insane but I know that it is real!

I think I need to go back and relisten to the earlier Kingdom messages. I think I understand that we can live within God’s Kingdom spiritually but are still stuck in the physical realm. So is that right? As our sanctification process grows, we’re in the Kingdom but still suffer physically, are still tempted, are still discouraged but through faith can reach out to Jesus for protection and healing.

  4. Dear Dr. Lake and Mary:
I read Shinar Directive, a biblical educational eye opening experience! Then I just finished The Shreeiyth Imperative, mind and heart changing experience! It is a companion to my Bible now. Thank You and God bless you for it!

Just listened to the KIB 140. Since the election I have felt a need to pray more diligently for our country and the Pres. Now I know this was the Holy Spirit’s leading. I have a question about something that happened on February 14th 2017. I was getting out of the shower, wrapped a towel around me and picked up a small towel to dry my hair. Standing with my back to the tub I felt a hard shove at my shoulder and fell backwards into the tub hitting my head on a metal bar on the wall of the tub. I Did Not pass out. I was fully conscious the whole time. That day I had doctors appointment and let the doctor look at the hug lump on my head and check for any physical issue. There were none he could see. My Question? Was this a demonic attack? If it was, How did that thing get in my house? I have declared my home in the service of the Lord. Your thoughts and advice on how to properly spiritually stand. Thank you.

  5. Hey Dr. and Mary Lou Lake.
August 12 is my birthday! Well — it’s certainly good to know about the Crowley marriage date.

There’s also freemasonry or things like that in my family line so maybe the date was chosen.

But the power of the blood of Christ is greater!

    Blessings
